Oak Hill Montessori was founded through the generosity and commitment of people. The founders envisioned a school that would encompass an inspiring, individualistic curriculum allowing students to explore outside the narrow curriculum of typical, traditional education. They made that vision a reality. And 50+ years later – through countless dedicated hours and financial resources - Oak Hill Montessori exists today as a true leader in education.
Oak Hill Montessori’s mission is distinct. And fulfilling that mission requires financial resources.
Like most independent schools, Oak Hill Montessori sets tuition at less than full cost. On average, tuition, fees and other programs cover 96% of costs of the costs of educating students at Oak Hill Montessori. We rely on outside sources of revenue through ongoing fundraising activities to help fill this gap.
Parents, grandparents, alumni and friends of Oak Hill Montessori give their time, talent and finances each year in order to sustain the mission, vision and core values which are central to the learning environment our students enjoy.
Giving in independent schools is another way to build community. Each family, staff and board member is here at Oak Hill Montessori because we chose to be here. We have made a decision to play a part and, collectively, each of us makes our community whole. The time we give to the school is important and so are our financial gifts. Every gift, no matter the size, is a sign of our investment and commitment to this extraordinary school.
Each year Oak Hill Montessori offers two primary opportunities for involvement from parents and friends of the school: The Oak Hill Fund and a fun-filled Annual Spring Auction.
Company Matching Gifts Programs
