James Daniels, Teacher [AMI Primary and Elementary Certifications]

James Daniels is a former Oak Hill Elementary Assistant, having worked in Glen's Upper Elementary classroom. That was enough to inspire him earned his AMI Elementary certification and his Master's degree through the AMI Loyola Montessori Training course in Baltimore, Maryland. He has spent the last year teaching in a Montessori school in Zurich, Switzerland. Jim earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia College in Chicago completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts program in photography.

Jim enjoys the outdoors, running home repair, the color orange and toad-in-the-holes (though at a restaurant he will usually seek out the least familiar thing on the menu).

Anne Wussler, Teacher [AMI Primary and  Elementary Certification]

Anne Schaefer Wussler has taught eight years at the Lower Elementary level at Oak Hill Montessori School. Anne taught creative movement and dance, Lower Elementary and Junior High Philosophy, Social Studies and Humanities in her twelve years teaching at Lake County School in Minneapolis. Anne's parents, Pat and Larry Schaefer, founded Lake County School. Anne taught at World Learner Montessori School, a Charter Program in Chaska. Anne has also taught at the Public Montessori, Crossroads School, in St. Paul. Anne holds a BA from Macalester College in Humanities and Anthropology. Her AMI Elementary Certification is from Montessori Training in Bergamo, Italy. She has a MALS in dance and movement studies from Wesleyan University and her elementary teaching license and MA in Education from the University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul. Anne and her husband, Jack, have one child, Jesse Wussler, who is now 11 months old. Anne took a sabbatical from her classroom last year to be with Jesse.
