Parent Education Calendar for 09-10
Parent education programs offer you the chance to discover more about how your child learns and how the Montessori environment supports his/her learning style. We want you to be aware of how fully the Montessori program meets the needs of children at every age level.
The Staff invites you to attend any or preferably all of the parent education opportunities that will be given this year, not just those given by your child’s teacher. The Staff puts in long hours to prepare themselves and the environments for parent education events so please take advantage of these opportunities to share in your child’s learning experience. We will make every effort to have childcare (Children’s House through Elementary) available at these events.
In addition, the Parent Association invites speakers in to talk about various parenting and child development topics. Kathy Anderson will also hold informal coffees throughout the year on various topics to be announced as the year progresses.
