Oak Hill Montessori students put on unique geography
fair
Illuminated art, singing and public speaking were some
of the skills students in Oak Hill Montessori's lower elementary showed off
during its spring project fair.
This year's theme for the May 20 fair was geography of
the United States and included study of each state, as well as geographic
regions.

Montessori Students Master Voting in Mock Election
Oak Hill Montessori just completed a seven-month class
project that followed and mirrored the presidential campaign.
About half the student body, faculty and parents of the
students participated in the final vote for school president on April 25. In
a real-world political lesson, the results mirrored the 2001 presidential
election in which the candidate with the most popular votes lost to the
candidate with the most electoral votes.

Halloween Heros that made an appearance at Oak Hill

Traveling Exhibit Visits Oak Hill Montessori
A large national exhibit celebrating 100 years of
Montessori teaching made an unexpected stop at Oak Hill Montessori School in
Shoreview between October 17 and October 21.
