Oak Hill Montessori students put on unique geography fair

Illuminated art, singing and public speaking were some of the skills students in Oak Hill Montessori's lower elementary showed off during its spring project fair.

Montessori Students Master Voting in Mock Election

Oak Hill Montessori just completed a seven-month class project that followed and mirrored the presidential campaign.

About half the student body, faculty and parents of the students participated in the final vote for school president on April 25. In a real-world political lesson, the results mirrored the 2001 presidential election in which the candidate with the most popular votes lost to the candidate with the most electoral votes.  Click here to read the full article by Stephen Harding, Staff Writer of the Shoreview Press.
