Giving at Oak Hill
Involvement and generosity take center stage when it comes to both growing programs and building on the excellence of our staff, curriculum and facilities. Oak Hill Montessori depends on the time, talent and financial contributions of the Oak Hill Community to continue providing the highest standards of Montessori excellence.
While tuition covers many essential costs, we depend on our fundraising efforts to provide high quality Montessori programs and facilities; to attract, retain and encourage exceptional faculty and staff; and to offer tuition assistance to those who would otherwise miss out. With a stable base of annual support Oak Hill Montessori can investigate meaningful program enhancements that strengthen the very roots of Montessori education.
We hope that each parent and friend of Oak Hill will place us high on his or her list of charitable priorities. While there are so many worthy causes to consider and support, we believe that a solid education for children is absolutely basic to a bright future. And remember, your gifts also permit you to enjoy tax advantages.
Fundraising Events
Each year Oak Hill offers two primary opportunities for parents and friends to express their generosity: our Annual Fund in the fall (the essential bedrock of support for most independent schools) and a fun-filled gala Spring Auction. Your generous gifts to the Annual Fund and enthusiastic participation in the Spring Auction help us cover the gaps in the school budget that are not met by tuition alone.
Major Gifts & Capital Campaigns
Occasionally Oak Hill Montessori seeks major gifts to sustain long-term needs identified by the Oak Hill Board of Directors. Donations from families and friends (one-time gifts and/or longer term pledges) provide the necessary funding for many program-related and building-related needs.
